We had the opportunity to develop a very small piece of property in the Loring Heights Neighborhood.  The design of the home emerged as a response to its location which joined both an older residential and industrial neighborhood.  The primary materials used were brick, wood, concrete, glass and metal.  We also felt it was important for the home to extend into the outside, making outdoor spaces as much a part of the living area as the interior spaces.  The house was designed with several passive solar techniques and other energy saving elements.  In 2009, the home was selected by Modern Atlanta to be on their Modern Home Tour.
